Store Keeper


Job Description

Main purpose is to help and assist the helicopter engineers by issuing parts, products, tools and equipment and make sure that everything is logged correctly and easy to find in the warehouse.

His/her main duties and responsibilities are:

  • Attends the need of parts/products/tools by the mechanics. This means looking into the software system to locate these items and go and collect them (pick items)
  • Makes sure the parts are in their correct location, if not they need to be changed accordingly
  • Does inventory ‘spot’ checks on regular basis and removes expired items
  • Is responsible for the cleanliness in the Store Area
  • Evaluates (unserviceable/defective) returned items for repair, waste, reuse: return to supplier or repair needed
  • Logs out the delivered items accordingly and correctly, by following the MOE (Helicopter Maintenance) procedures and internal rules (also in software system)
  • Credits back unused items and registers the return of tools
  • Performs registration of unserviceable or defective items according evaluation.
  • Preferably relevant experience
  • A first experience in warehousing or logistics through internships
  • Experience in aviation environment is preferred but not mandatory
  • Language:
    • Excellent knowledge of Dutch & English is mandatory
  • ICT literate, excellent knowledge of excel (mandatory)
  • Is a team player and helps out his colleagues where needed
  • Shows interest in technical matters
  • Logical thinking
