Job Description

Main purpose of the job:

Main purpose is to perform line and base maintenance on the fleet on site. He/she will be

managed by the Chief Engineer and is able to work on his/her own.

 

Tasks & Duties:

Line Maintenance

In order to assure daily business continuity for the Operations the Engineer will

  • Comply with the requirements as described in the regulations (EC 1056/2008, Annex II)
  • Ensure that all line maintenance tasks carried out to helicopters meet the standard of the BCAA/EASA and M.O.E. instructions
  • Ensure, together with all Engineers, a variable & flexible work planning & work roster based on business needs that supports & realizes business continuity
  • Ensure that all maintenance is completed within the appropriate time scales to ensure provision of serviceable aircraft to meet the operational need.
  • Ensure, based on pilot & all other relevant information, daily problem analysis & problem solving.
  • Ensure briefing & debriefing of pilots and Senior Engineer.
  • Ensure that PRF (preflight check) is performed.
  • Ensure, in cooperation with NHV Supply Chain, Store & MCC that the necessary maintenance material & spare parts are present on site at the planned moment: material in service car = consumables, limited service stock, work material, … : material ; needed for normal day-to-day line maintenance; exceptional material supplied for exceptional line maintenance or small repair tasks
  • Report daily on the maintenance situation

 

Base Maintenance

In order to assure daily business continuity for the Base Maintenance the Engineer will

  • Comply with the requirements as described in the regulations (EC 1056/2008, Annex II)
  • Ensure that all maintenance tasks carried out to helicopters meet the standard of the BCAA/EASA and M.O.E. instructions
  • Ensure, together with all Engineers, a variable & flexible work planning & work roster based on business needs that supports & realizes business continuity3
  • Ensure that all maintenance is completed within the appropriate time scales to ensure provision of serviceable aircraft to meet the operational need.
  • Ensure briefing & debriefing of the Chief Engineer; Report daily on the maintenance situation
  • Ensure, in cooperation with NHV Supply Chain, Store & MCC that the necessary maintenance material & spare parts are present on site at the planned moment

 

Supporting functions

The line engineer will provide (technical) support to local operations following the instructions of NHV Ground Operations,

 


Your Profile

Requirements

  • EASA Part 66 B1.3 License or B2 License
  • Type Rating on
    • AS365 N2 and/or N3
    • EC155;
    • EC225;
    • AS332 L2;
    • EC175;
    • EC145;
    • MD Explorer 900/902;
    • AW139 or
    • AS350.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in aviation is preferred
  • ICT-literate (specific aviation software & MS Office)
  • Languages:
    • English – Professional level(As the company language is English, this is mandatory)
    • Speaking and understanding the French language is an advantage.
