Our Corporate Finance department is mainly active in M&A mandates, Valuation of companies, Transaction Services (buy-side and sell-side Due Diligence investigations), Funding and Financial Modelling. Our clients range from SME’s to listed corporates and private equity firms engaged in various industries. We share our time between analysis work in the office, meetings with our clients and working sessions with the Management of the Target companies.

The last couple of years, we have seen a strong growth in Corporate Finance and we are therefore hiring a (Senior) Manager Corporate Finance for our M&A practice in our offices based closed to Namur (Isnes), Liège (Battice) or La Hulpe. The (Senior) Manager will be able to act as a true deal captain in achieving assignments he or she will be responsible for.

Your main responsibilities

  • Research of industry related information and documentation to support the preparation of pitch decks, information memorandum and/or valuation reports ;
  • Preparation of teasers and information memorandum in the context of sell-side M&A mandates, including strategic rationale, market trends, competitive environment and financial analyses ;
  • Analysis of targets financial statements and business plans in the context of acquisition or sell-side due diligence in order to identify normalization adjustments on EBITDA, net working capital and net financial debt ;
  • Drafting of business plans and advise on transaction and financing structuring ;
  • Drafting of valuation or due diligence reports ;
  • Research of potential targets in the context of sell or buy-side mandates ;
  • Contact and relationship management with potential acquirers/sellers ;
  • Assistance of clients in negotiations with counterparts.
Votre profil
Your profile 
  • University background in finance or business economics ;
  • Prior experience of 5 to 10 years in Corporate Finance, M&A, Transaction Services, private equity or similar environment is a must ;
  • Excellent knowledge of French (written and spoken), with advanced working knowledge of English. Dutch and German are an asset ;
  • Excellent communication skills ;
  • Strong command and understanding of Excel and how it can be applied to Corporate Finance ;
  • Strong command of PowerPoint is essential in order to communicate with impact ;
  • Sense of responsibility and proactivity, self-starter and team player ;
  • Flexible and resilient ;
  • Analytic and structured mindset triggered to understand complex problems ;
  • Can do and result driven attitude ;
  • Capabilities in coaching junior and senior M&A consultants;
  • Eager to learn.
